Muppet of the Day #1: BHW717

The inaugural "Muppet of the Day" award goes to BHW717 for his embarrassingly poor attempt at a verbal bluff- a vain attempt to disguise the strength of his flopped trips. Unfortunately for him he was behind to a flopped full house!

No- just fucking dumb!

Oh well; it's all about the long-term. :)

Muppet of the Day #3: FromLosAngeles

In the following hand, FromLosAngeles's pre-flop call is bad of course, and his flop raise is debatable- but what the fuck is his call all about!? LOL. Even with 2/1 pot odds this is a massive -EV call!

The ONLY possible hand that I jam with there that he is beating is 87s and >90% of the time I have an overpair or better. He's even behind to a semi-bluff with a high Ace.

Perhaps he has a Superuser account? :)

I love the muppet of the day idea and often have my own version when I shoot off e-mails to my friends summarizing sessions. That guy was a total clown and I'm glad to see he didn't catch up. Reminds me far too much of the muppet who instacalled my overbet shove for a full stack the other day with K5 against my 22 on a KK2 flop. The 5 came on the turn.

Yeah- as strong as your hand is, it's still only just over a 75% favourite. Best to just fold and save getting sucked out on. :)

Muppet of the day scares me Mike - Im going to fold all my hands against you now, in case you "shame" me to your readership!!

That will take some beating- especially given that it's a $5k pot!!

I love Muppet of the Day! It is so good to see it's not just the micro-stakes full of muppets.

My offering:
I was in the big blind with 24o and flopped a FH with 2s4s2d and am called all-in by a Muppet with Ks9s drawing almost dead (but he thought a flush would win).

Muppet hits runner-runner KK for a higher FH to take my stack!

I don't know what I was thinking gambling on a 99.4% favourite, LOL!

OMG George!

You win!

Freddy said...

but how scary is it that the 10 7 was winning to the river........

Smart Money said...

I wouldn't be surprised if that T7o Vs AA hand was collusion to rob Dimirules of his $500.

George. If I were you I'd be interested in knowing if Seung5833 and Alii2311 often play together- if they're going to be at your tables.

If it isn't collusion, then we have a winner for Muppet of the Epoch!

Amatay said...

ahahahhaha you funny bastard, that fucking cracked me oop. Loving ur work m8

Geo said...

Smart Money - It definitely wasn't collusion! He did the same to me with JQos when I had AA. I could show you loads of other hands from that night that would win also! I've never seen ali at the tables before and doubt i'll see him again.

Well, you have a poker friend for life then!
