Cold as Ice

What a bad night. After making ~+$1k in the first 2 hours I then went on a $1.8k downswing of coolers.

Here are some of my favourites. (I'm not interested in anyone's comments on how the hands were played by the way. Decisions were often opponent-specific.)

There's also nothing particularly exciting about any of them other than they all occurred with a 90 minute period with just these pots alone totaling $2.5k. (It's my blog and I just feel like venting.)

I feel ur pain m8. i really do. How u gotta look at it, is that you stil finished the night $200 up. ok, that isnt exactly great considering the amount you were up, but i really cant see anything you did there that any1 else would do different in your position. Infact u played them all perfect it was just a run of good cards at bad times.

You and everyone else knows that 9/10 you would have won all of those cooler hands cos your hand was very strong. It was jus sick that some1 had better everytime.

My advise (if you actually need any ;-).) is to try and not let it bother you. Ur a great player, results prove that, and in the end it will come good.

It could be a hell of a lot worse m8. Gl, keep us posted. Dave

Cheers Dave. To be honest, it didn't bother me too much.

One thing though, I actually finished the night about $700 down! :)

Chin up Mikey - days like that happen and I think your play was absolutely fine. Not sure if you got the mail I sent to Kenny, but the other day I had EIGHT set unders sets, 4 KKs vs AAs and a few other coolers in 7000 hands one day, and I played like a tosser after that!!
But it is good to vent them out an dfeel better and keep your play consistent - I saw your big loss on pokerwinnings, so thought something was up, although last time you had that it was because you played whilst pissed up!!!
And 700 down is nothing when you look at monthly winnings
Good luck matey

Yeah, you're right. As I mentioned in the comment above- I really wasn't too bothered by it. It was just a sick 90 minutes of play!

And with regards to that Poker Player Winnings website; it really is a load of shit right now seeing as it only mines about 1/3 of all hands. It has me down $1.5k for the past 7 days, whereas in reality I am up over $3k! (Plus another $1k in rakeback.)
