Vegas Baby

I'm off to Vegas next week (Thu 31st - Mon 4th) with a couple of mates. I'll be meeting up with JPJ, Ace3, and Fishpoo from the Betfair forum, and also Nation from the 2+2 forum. If anyone else is going to be out there then let me know. Hopefully I'll be able to find the right balance between poker, beer, and women. Although I'm not sure what the right balance is.

Cigarettes and Alcohol

I had a pretty poor night on Friday. I was a grand down after an hour and spent the next 5 hours or so getting back to all square. I then lost $1k in the last 45 minutes.

As a result, I decided not to play on Saturday night and went out instead. I have little recollection of the night. I don't remember getting home but my room-mate said I tried getting into bed with his girlfriend! I've also got a large graze on my head so presumably I fell over at some point.

I passed out around 4am and when I woke at 8:30am I decided to play some poker. I don't actually remember sitting down at the tables so I guess I was still drunk. Anyway, I actually did pretty well and ended up playing for 7 hours straight for a nice profit of just over $2,500 which is my 3rd best day ever at $1/$2.

EDIT: Just had another good day; just shy of +$2,000.

Awesome. Long may the fish under bet when miles ahead, and call huge raises when miles behind....

Keep it going, would like to see a strategy post from you if possible please?

I rejected this comment by mistake:

Howdy

Saw your blog through a friends blog (tenbob) and read most of your 2+2 thread on the subject. Pretty bold statement and I'd love to see the results of your little test.

Anyways I've linked you from my blog (http://chucktscanadiandream.blogspot.com/), hope you'll do the same if you're interested ;)

btw nice boobies.

Sure. Anything in particular?

Thanks mate! Not really fussed what the topic is, any situation you got into which wasn't ABC and required a bit of analysis would be fine. Or any hand you watched which you found interesting.... just keen to see some of your thought processes really.

Regards, D

Hey Narena, do you look for anything when you select tables? Do you use any software like spadeeye or sixth sense?

Hi Dave.

No, I've seen those programs but I don't think they're much use to anyone playing 16 tables. I just join the wait lists for the tables with the highest plr/flop %ages. I'll then swap tables in/out periodically.
